Emily A. McGranaghan, Founder and Principal of Afton 1031 Investments, achieved her extensive commercial real estate knowledge through over 18 years with such distinguished firms as R.M. Bradley & Co., Inc. in Boston, Shorenstein Realty Services in San Francisco, and Keegan & Coppin, ONCOR International in San Francisco’s North Bay.
In 1999, she joined Shorenstein Realty Services’ on-site management team for San Francisco’s 425 Market Street, a 1.1 million square foot high-rise office tower. Her direct responsibilities included all property operations, vendor contract selection and supervision, financial reporting and budget preparation, monitoring construction activity for major tenant build outs, capital improvements, and lease administration. As a top producing R.E. Broker Associate with Keegan & Coppin, ONCOR International, she received Major Investment Transaction Achievement Awards in 2002, 2004 and 2005. She has represented private investors, developers, and institutions in the acquisition and disposition of commercial investment property, ranging from single tenant office buildings to major regional shopping centers. She has also negotiated a vast number of commercial leases, representing both tenants and landlords in transactions involving retail, office and industrial space. As a founding member of Keegan & Coppin’s 1031 Investment Division, in recent years she has focused primarily on helping private real estate investors identify and secure commercial investment property to fulfill their 1031 Exchange requirements. As a Registered Representative of Welton Street Investments, Member of NASD & SIPC, Ms. McGranaghan is a registered securities agent in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Florida, Vermont and Texas, and is also a Licensed Real Estate Broker in Massachusetts and California. She is a member of TICA's Editorial Board, and a graduate of Clark University in Worcester, MA. |
